• Did you know we have 2,400 Black United Methodist Churches with a membership of 500,000 across the country?
  • Did you know that BMCR is the voice for Black people in our denomination?

We are concerned about the state of our Black congregations. Too many of our churches are small and struggling to stay open, pay apportionments, and grow their membership. That’s why we still need BMCR so we can discuss, strategize and advocate for the needs of the Black church. The critical work of BMCR can only happen through your financial support. Our goal is to increase our membership exponentially over the next year.

Our local caucus meets at 3pm every 4th. Sunday here at Saint Mark UMC.  We cannot empower our churches for effective witness and service to the Black community without your support!  Please join us!!
